The campaign runs from 6 September to 4 October 2025 and will be divided into various projects.

KSB Projects - Spring Clean Scottburgh - Round 1

Round 1: Scottburgh Entrance – 6 Sep 25

To launch our Spring Clean Scottburgh Campaign, we are cleaning up of the entrance to Scottburgh on your left as you cross the bridge over the Mpambanyoni River and up George Crookes Street to the entrance of the Blue Marlin Hotel.

We encourage everyone to join us on 6 Sep 25 at 8am to help collect litter, clear garden refuse, transport rubbish to required dump sites and trim trees & brush etc.

We also need donations of plants (aloes, succulents, ferns etc.) & large rocks for garden areas, as well as refuse bags, compost & fertiliser.

This project will continue throughout the weeks until the area is properly cleared.

Round 2: Bottom of Allen Street – 13 Sep 25

The second round of our Spring Clean Scottburgh Campaign will address the overgrowth and litter along lower Allen Street hugging the golf course. We need helping hands to collect litter, clear garden refuse, transport rubbish and trim trees & bushes.

This project will continue through the weeks if required to ensure the area is cleaned properly.

Round 3: Saturday Market Area – 21 Sep 25

For Round 3 of the Spring Clean Scottburgh Campaign, we encourage all to join us tackling the Saturday Market Grounds on the corner of Wiliamson & Arbuthnot Streets. This is a regularly used community area in much need of some TLC so it can be a safer, cleaner, greener space for all to enjoy.

Please bring your garden gloves, rakes, hedge trimmers and tools needed to help get the job done well!
