Spring Clean Scottburgh – Round 2 A Success

Once again the rain welcomed the die hard Keep Scottburgh Beautiful supporters! However, we don’t give up that easily! The rain passed and we had a wonderful morning with the help of Simon and Chantelle Cubitt, who between pulling out wire pieces all the way up the road and gathering up many, many off-cuts of plants, also kept us abreast of the rugby score! Kelly Gilliver had the traffic fully under control in between her massive efforts clearing the undergrowth.

The team from RE/MAX Coast & Country popped in to assist with clearing and supplied much needed liquid refreshment.

This area has needed cleaning for some time and the road is now much easier to navigate. This is an ongoing project and with the help of Deon and Sonja (Sodet Solutions) and some help from Mtunzi Park we will endeavour to keep moving the overgrown plants and refuse!

The golf course has also benefitted from the clean up and are grateful for assistance in keeping the area tidy. The Scottburgh Golf Club is a great social space for our community and visitors to enjoy – please support the club and their restaurant. You do not need to be a member to enjoy a meal or a round of golf. Pop in and say hi to the guys in the Pro Shop as you pass by.
